In order to get to the perfect style you need the perfect cut so to start off here are 5 steps to the perfect cut
  1. Look for a picture with the style you like is going to be the best way to setting us on the right path.
  2. Don't be afraid of change. By this we mean don't be intimidated my going a bit shorter not necessarily higher on the fade/blend
  3. Get familiar with clipper sizes. Don't be afraid to ask your barber what size he is using to start getting familiar with the sizes to the clipper. Keep in mind not all clippers are the same.
  4. Recognize not every hairstyle fits everybody. So please trust us if we tell you that that hair cut just isn't for you.
  5. Before starting make sure you and the barber are on the same page.

I agreed when you stated that getting familiar with the clipper sizes can help achieve a perfect haircut. My friend finds hair cutting an interesting job. He is even looking for a place that provides hair-cutting tutorials so he learns the skills.

Thank you for pointing out that the greatest way to get us moving in the correct direction is to look for images in the aesthetic that you enjoy. My husband wants a haircut in a different style. I'll advise him to find images that inspire the way he wants his hair to look.

Thank you for explaining that it's important to not be afraid of change when getting your hair cut. I've been wondering what kinds of things to keep in mind for my next haircut. I'll be sure to remember this since I am expecting this next cut to be more drastic than my current style.
